Going Beyond Programme Equips Youth with Skills for a Sustainable Future
GreenTech Hub continues to invest in Tanzania’s next generation of changemakers through its Going Beyond Programme, a flagship initiative dedicated to empowering young women and men with practical skills, leadership capacity, and an entrepreneurial mindset for sustainable development.
GreenTech Hub, in partnership with Her Initiative, is hosting Going Beyond Project training for young women and men in Dar es Salaam. “Going Beyond”—Partnering for a Youth-Led Future—is an initiative of Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT), in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, with Her Initiative serving as an implementing partner in Tanzania DOT
The recent training session brought together motivated participants male & female to develop practical skills in entrepreneurship, digital literacy, personal development, innovation, leadership and climate action. Through interactive learning, group discussions, practical exercises and mentorship, participants explored how to transform ideas into viable livelihoods and community solutions.
Under the partnership, Her Initiative manages and delivers the programme, while GreenTech Hub provides training facilities, mobilizes eligible participants and supports local coordination.
Together, the partners are equipping young people to become employable professionals, job creators, responsible leaders and innovators capable of addressing social, environmental and economic challenges. This collaboration advances inclusive youth empowerment, sustainable livelihoods and resilient communities across Tanzania.
